HOLMES TOWNSHIP - The Crawford County Sheriff's Office is investigating a two vehicle fatal crash that occurred at the intersection of Temple Road and Eaton Road.
Preliminary investigation shows a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt operated by Bruce Isaacs, 21, Bucyrus, Ohio, was southbound on Eaton Road. Preliminary investigation indicates that Isaacs failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection, colliding with an eastbound vehicle on Temple Road, being a 2004 Chevrolet Impala, operated by Christina Shaw, 31, Bucyrus, Ohio.
Both Bruce Isaacs and his passenger and brother, Chris Isaacs, 14, Bucyrus, Ohio, were ejected from their vehicle, after impact. Bruce Isaacs was transported to the Bucyrus Community Hospital by Lifestar EMS with serious visible injuries, later transferred to Grant Hospital by Life Flight. Chris Isaacs was killed, and pronounced deceased at the scene by Crawford County Assistant Coroner, Dr. Hope.
Christina Shaw was transported to Toledo St. Vincent's Hospital from the scene by Life Flight, with serious injuries. Two passengers from the Shaw vehicle, her daughters, Alexis Lantz, 7, and Abigail Shaw, 4, were transported to Bucyrus Community Hospital by Lifestar EMS, and later transferred by Life Flight to St. Vincent's Hospital, with serious injuries.
Units on the scene were Sheriff Ron Shawber along with six Crawford County Sheriff's units, Holmes Township Fire Department, Lifestar EMS, and St. Vincent's Life Flight. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Bloomfield Towing.
