Meeting to be held for input from Bucyrus Property Owners,
Business Owners, and Employees from the Bucyrus Central District
A meeting will be held at 6:30 P.M. this Tuesday September 9th at The Pelican House in downtown Bucyrus for input from Bucyrus Property Owners, Business Owners, and Employees from the Bucyrus Central Business District. The public is welcome and The Mayor and City Council Members and the media are invited to attend this meeting to discuss the proposed closing off of this area for storm sewer construction, street widening, changes in street lighting, and changes in traffic control devices. A decision is expected to be made at this meeting of whether to request the city to continue with parts or all of this project or to stop all or parts of this project. Businesses in this area should be aware of the proposed project blocking customer access to their businesses from Sandusky Avenue for a considerable period of time. This meeting is called by concerned business owners. Persons attending should be aware that aborting this project will result in our city not receiving the grant money for this project nor having to pay from the city's funds for it's share of the project cost. Other matters concerning our city may be discussed if time permits.
