TEEN ADVISORY BOARD TAKING APPLICATIONS
Calling all jr. high and high school book lovers.  The Bucyrus Public Library is currently taking membership applications for their Teen Advisory Board.
All area teens in grades 7th-12th who have a love of reading and fun are invited to pick up a TAB application at the circulation desk on the first floor of the library or at the circulation desk of their school libraries.  Applications are to be returned to the Bucyrus Public Library by Saturday, September 20.  The first meeting will be held on Monday, September 22 at 7:00 pm with regular TAB meetings being held the second Monday of each month beginning in October and ending in May.
The Teen Advisory Board consists of students from Colonel Crawford, Bucyrus, Wynford, Buckeye Central and Wayside school districts who are interested in the library and the programming that the library provides for young adults.  TAB members form lasting friendships and work together to plan young adult programs, lock-ins, parties, reading clubs and more.  TAB members also participate in community service projects through the library.
For more information about TAB or young adult programming contact Young Adult Librarian Renee Caserta at 419-562-7327, ext. 108.
